Delivery & Returns

How does delivery work?

Bamboo Products

✔︎ We use Australia Post and some other courier services to ship your orders within Australia.

You can expect your parcel to:

  • Leave our warehouse the next day
  • Receive your orders 2-8 business days from when it leaves our warehouse.

*PLEASE NOTE due to current high demand and workplace social distancing requirements our warehouse is taking slightly longer to send orders than usual.

You will get the following emails:

  • thelittlebigbamboo #BOO123 is on its way

Australia Post will also send you a follow up email that says your delivery from thelittlebigbamboo is on its way. Please don't stress if there are no scan events within the first 24 hours - the system can take a day or so to catch up. 

Please note that while we send your order out as a whole, Australia Post cannot guarantee packages will stay together during transit.

Our orders are sent with an 'Authority to Leave.' If you're not home when the order arrives, our couriers will leave the parcel at your address (as long as they believe it’s safe to do so), meaning you don't have to worry about waiting around for a delivery to arrive, or being home during delivery hours!

If your order does not arrive within 13 business days, please contact us so that we can follow it up with Australia Post or other delivery partners.

Most orders are shipped for free over $90 , but there are sadly a few exceptions for more remote areas and for bamboo fertilisers (Heavy items). We will ship them as lowest cost as possible regardless is its under $90.

Bamboo Plants

✔︎ We use own personalised delivery service to ship your orders to Victoria only.

You can expect your order to:

  • Leave our greenhouse after been carefully hand-picked for the healthiest plant
  • Receive your orders 1-12 business days from when it leaves our greenhouse

You will get the following emails & SMS:

  • thelittlebigbamboo #BOO123 is 1hr away from deliver via email or SMS

Our personalised delivery service may include: Garden & Soil assessment, Plant spacing, Tips and tricks, Fertiliser reminders (if fertiliser is purchased), Detailed planting instructions.

If you're not home when the order arrives, we will leave the plants at your address in a safe area.

If your order does not arrive within 14 business days, please contact us so that we can follow it up.

Do you have a returns policy?

Bamboo Products

✔︎ Yes! We are extremely confident that you will love our Bamboo products. Sometimes things don't go to plan. Rest assured we will ensure a fast resolution as we offer a 30-day returns policy.

We are required to state specific information under the Australian Consumer Law. This is “our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law.
The product being returned must be in an unused condition and returned along with the packaging (e.g. carton, compostable bags) that it arrives in. If your return item arrives without the packaging, or is deemed unfit by our inspection team for any reason we reserve the right to deny your refund in accordance with consumer laws.

For sleep tees, all items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in their original packaging. All of our Sleep tees carry a risk-free 30-day return and exchange window, with the exception of items marked as Final Sale (e.g. the mystery pack). Change of mind is not a valid reason for a refund or exchange.

For damaged/defective items please email us at info@thelittlebigbamboo.com.au within 30 days of receiving your product.

Please specify your order number (you can find it in your order confirmation email) as well as the reason why you would like to return your bamboo product, so we can do our best to fix it for next time!

Our Customer Service Team will then ask few mandatory questions regarding your return in order to for us to avoid people taking advantage of our system. All fees associated with your returns are at your own expense.

 

Bamboo Plants

✔︎ Yes! Our passion for bamboo started with our plants powered by nature! We will guide you with a detailed planting guide on delivery to ensure the best foot forward. Rest assured we will ensure a fast resolution as we offer a 14-day returns policy. The guaranteed applies to our 30cm and 20cmpot size only and also our Bamboo Fertiliser must be purchased & applied as instructed

We guarantee that every bamboo baby will arrive in good health, and will survive through their adjustment period. Bamboo plants don’t love drastic changes to their environment, so some weariness, yellowing of leaves or minor cosmetic blemishes are to be expected. This is not considered dead.

It may take a few weeks or months for your plant to adjust to its new home and thrive.

If your bamboo has not been planted on the same or next day, roots exposed to the sun/wind, has not been watered daily, or is deemed unfit by our inspection team for any reason we reserve the right to deny your refund in accordance with consumer laws.

If your bamboo has been watered for 3mins per day but dies and would like a refund, please email us at info@thelittlebigbamboo.com.au within 14 days of receiving your plant and we’ll arrange a refund as long as we have proof of watering.

Please specify your order number, name and address as well as the reason why you would like to return your bamboo plant, so we can do our best to fix it for next time!

Please capture a few photos of your bamboo plant as soon as possible and then, contact us via email with your name, order number and address and photos.

Our Customer Service Team will then ask few mandatory questions regarding your return in order to for us to avoid people taking advantage of our system.
Please note you will be responsible for getting the bamboo plant back to us.
